Estate Manager

Salary Range $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 Salary Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day

Location: Los Angeles (Malibu, West LA, Brentwood) Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Estate Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and ongoing projects of a private estate for a UHNW family. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, vendors, service providers, and other stakeholders, ensuring the property is maintained and projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the estate.
  • Manage contractors, vendors, architects, designers, and service providers.
  • Lead property improvement, construction, renovation, and installation projects from planning through completion.
  • Establish and monitor project timelines, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Review proposals, estimates, invoices, and scopes of work.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, landscaping, security, technology, and other property services.
  • Coordinate household staff and outside service providers as needed.
  • Prepare the estate for family members, guests, and special events.
  • Maintain organized records of vendors, projects, warranties, maintenance, and property documentation.
  • Provide regular updates to the family or designated representative regarding property operations and projects.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise exceptional discretion at all times.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in estate management, residential property management, luxury hospitality, construction/project management, or a related field.
  • Travel between properties and various locations will be required. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Experience managing high-end residential properties and working with contractors and vendors.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong financial and budget-management skills.
  • Exceptional professionalism, discretion, and judgment.
