Essential Job Functions: - Manage a diverse portfolio of structural engineering projects from design through execution
- Oversee internal teams to ensure quality, schedule, and budget alignment
- Translate client goals and input into structurally sound, code-compliant systems
- Create and review design calculations, structural models, and detailed construction documents using Revit and other structural analysis tools.
- Lead construction administration tasks, including RFIs, submittals, and site inspections
- Actively participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development
- Maintain billable target of approximately 80% through balancing design, coordination, and oversight
Required Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Entry Level:
- 4+ years of structural design experience for Project Manager level
- 8+ years of experience (including complex, large-scale project management) for Senior Project Manager consideration
Required Skills & Abilities: - Strong client management and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead projects, support cross-functional teams, and meet delivery goals
- Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise with Revit, AutoCAD, RISA, Navisworks, and BIM platforms
- Understanding of contractual terms, scope development, and budgeting
- Experience mentoring junior team members and promoting technical excellence
